In 2017, the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree came from Montana. The Washington Companies donated funds to help get the tree from Montana to Washington, D.C. and also decided to create a custom Christmas tree topper for the star. I got to mockup what the star would look like before a local metalworker created the 3D object. The first photo is the design I created and the second is the final result.
